At the end of the 90s I drove along a golf course in Utrecht every day. Every time I was surprised that such few golfers were present at this beautiful course. After a while, I decided to visit this golf course and came into contact with a very friendly club manager. He confirmed that every day, there were many quiet moments with hardly any players on the course. Research showed that more golf courses were struggling with similar problems. With this in mind, I developed a concept bringing more people to these golf courses. This resulted in GreenFree.com.
